KONO CULTURAL RESTORATION - KONSALCAN

Traditional heritage is gradually fading away across the African Continent. The influx of the western influence has had tremendous and devastating impact on how Africans portray their culture.

Kono district in Eastern province of Sierra Leone is no exception to this problem.  It is encouraging to note that some indigenes of Kono have decided to revive their traditional culture through a group called KONO CULTURAL RESTORATION. This group is one of the branches of Konsalcan Inc. that is promoting Education, Agriculture and Traditional Culture.

The Konos are a very beautiful and accommodating people and their culture tells it all.
