Chiefdom Development and Current News Items

Sahr Peter Foyoh is the Youth Council Chairman for Soa Chiefdom.  Peter is a very dynamic young gentleman who has brought all the youths in Soa together.

His initiatives have resulted into the creation of community farm.  They are growing rice in order to help alleviate the uncontrolled price of the staple food.

Both young and adults are great admirers of his brilliant ideas and have given tremendous support.

They are still facing challenges, and would appreciate any help to boost their projects.

Pa Aiah Nyorkor Gbeinda is the deputy section chief who agreed to an interview from Sahr Peter Foyoh.  Pa Nyorkor Gbeinda narrates the history of how Kainkordu got it's name.

He also briefly explains how the Paramount chieftency was inherited by both the Foyohs and the Gbeinds.  Both of these happen to have hailed from the same lineage.

Developments in Soa Chiefdom

This is an elementary school building situated inTombu village, Sawabuma section in Soa chiefdom.

The population of the school is not exactly known. However, the community need an updated structure of their current building.

These structures have been constructed by World Vision. The facility will serve as a Public Health Unit for the Kameindu and Semendu communities.

The borehole is the proposed water supply for the Health Centre.  The communities and even beyond will surely benefit from this very important facility.
